About me
I’ve been a full-time test prep tutor for nearly 14 years, and I love it. Candidly, when I started out I didn’t think I’d be passionate about test prep—but I absolutely am. I’ve tutored over 1000 students in my career, both in person and by phone and Skype, covering the entire spectrum of starting and goal scores. I also have extensive experience with students with various earning and testing difficulties and am happy to help young people with those challenges.

Hobbies & Activities
Beyond tutoring, I work as a defensive tactics instructor and personal self-defense trainer with several organizations throughout the country and abroad. In what spare time I have, I enjoy running various races, particularly mud runs and obstacle courses; in addition to many smaller events, I’m a multiple-time participant in the World’s Toughest Mudder competition, during which I’ve been lapped multiple times by the winners. I was a 4-year varsity athlete in high school, in track and water polo, and was deeply involved in youth, community, and high school theatre before continuing that focus in college, working on many Equity productions, so I’m very familiar with the demands on young athletes and artists.
