Experience:
Although I primarily work with middle schoolers and elementary school students, I've taught a diverse range of students, from kindergarteners to high schoolers and beyond. During the past two years, I spent 5+ hours a week at local schools and after-school programs, tutoring students of various ages in numerous subjects, including English/ELA, Algebra 2, elementary math, etc. I've also worked with students with special needs, including autism and ADHD. Throughout my tutoring career, I've encountered learners who can comprehend new topics and concepts readily as well as those who need more incentive and assistance to attain mastery. As such, I can adapt with flexibility to each student's learning style and personality, and I'm able to apply appropriate methods of motivation on an individual basis.
