About me
Since I began my education at a Montessori School, where teaching and learning alongside other students is an integral part of the curriculum, I have always felt comfortable and confident in tutoring roles. I have two years of tutoring experience working in my high school’s Math Center, where I helped students wrap their heads around problems in Algebra I and II, Geometry and Pre-Calculus, and almost a year of experience working with clients through Ivy Bound. I love working collaboratively with students, bringing my own experience and knowledge to the table while also learning from them about their challenges and the strategies that work well for them. Beyond tutoring, on campus I am a writer and editor for the Features section of Wesleyan's student run newspaper The Argus, a starting member of the Varsity squash team, and a Peer Health Advocate. I recently declared a double major in Science in Society and Hispanic Literature and Cultures.
I look forward to helping students find success in the classroom, on the SAT and ACT, and beyond!
