About me

A graduate of Yale University and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, Justin draws inspiration from all the brilliant teachers he has had. For two years, he was a full-time instructor at The Rainard School for Gifted Students in Houston, where he worked enthusiastically with a variety of children, many of whom had learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and ADHD. While pursuing his Master’s degree at the University of Iowa’s top-ranked writing program, Justin taught literature and writing to college undergraduates and high school students. A successful Ivy Bound tutor since 2011, Justin is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Houston, where he is a teaching fellow.
