Additionally, she led workshops at public libraries and coached students to create winning college essays. She also taught freshman writing at the University of Hartford and supported students in UHart’s writing center. Swift’s essays have appeared in a variety of literary magazines including Brevity Blog and Yellow Arrow Review. She has written for the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering as well as The American Red Cross. Her memoir, A Dream Life is scheduled for publication in May 2026.
